Adobe Analytics

I'm looking for an Adobe Analytics Campaign URL builder (similar to the Google Analytics campaign builders) that will enable me to build my customer’s campaign URL forms easily (preferably from a template), will allow me to design it without any code for their brand, control naming conventions, store my Adobe links built, and help me with insights. I’m inheriting a mess from Adobe analytics and am starting from scratch with either evars or a typical cid url that also follows UTM parameter structures.I came across a public Adobe UTM Builder and have also signed up for a free trial after duplicating the template. I also tried Terminus, Uplifter, Clara vine, and UTM Smart Manager. I’m in the process of building my customer’s governance deployment in each of these platforms but so far I’m liking UTM Smart Manager best for value and pricing. Any other recommendations out there? I'm troubleshooting a Marketing Channels issue in Adobe Analytics.My Paid Search rule is:IF ANY Query String Parameter utm_medium contains cpc Query String Parameter utm_source contains google or bing THEN Paid SearchMy Referral rule is:IF ALL Referring Domain is not empty Tracking Code does not contain cpc or paid social THEN ReferralI'm finding hundreds of First Time Visits classified as Referral where: Referrer = google.com Campaign UTM Medium = cpc Campaign UTM Source = google All of our paid search traffic comes from Google/Bing and uses valid UTM parameters (utm_source=google, utm_medium=cpc).When I break down these Referral visits, most are associated with Google CPC campaigns and paid search landing pages.Given the Paid Search rule above, I would expect these visits to be classified as Paid Search, not Referral.Has anyone seen Google CPC first-time visits fall into Referral despite matching Paid Search criteria?

How are you all documenting your analytics requirements to pass to developers? We release new features/products on our website and app monthly, and are currently using the same drawn-out and tedious process to request our analytics implementation work that we’ve been using for years. We (the analysts using Adobe Analytics) receive designs of the experience in Figma from Product, screenshot those screen by screen and outline what variables/events need to set on each screen/with each interaction in a PPT, and then a technical specifications document gets created by someone on the more technical side (using trackState, etc.) in a PDF. That document is then passed to IT for development. There has to be a more efficient way. I’d love to hear how all of you are handling this process when you’re pushing multiple analytics implementations across multiple platforms monthly.

Hi everyone,I’m currently trying to test the Adobe Analytics MCP.So far, I have:been granted the required permissions (MCP Access + Developer Access) created a project in the Adobe Developer Console generated API credentials/keys as part of the setupAfter adding the MCP server in Cursor, I’m able to authenticate successfully. However, all requests fail afterward with a 500 Internal Server Error coming from the MCP endpoint.Error message:Transient error connecting to streamableHttp server:Streamable HTTP error: Error POSTing to endpoint:{ "method":"POST", "error":"Proxy error", "message":"500 Internal Server Error", "targetUrl":"https://<adobe-mcp-endpoint>/mcp"}From the logs, it seems the OAuth/authentication flow succeeds, but the MCP endpoint itself fails afterward.Has anyone run into this before, or does anyone know what could be the cause?Any guidance would be hugely appreciated. thanks!

Hello! I have a question on difference in data for sequential segments vs. stacked segments. I am helping another team attribute conversions for users who have come from natural search and visited then homepage and then completed a conversion. They have two versions of this report, one from their vendor and one from our internal team, and the data is not adding up.Their vendors version of the segment is as follows (this is not the literal segment, just how it is set up with our own specific dimensions):Visits (only after sequence)Page = homepage- AND -Search Engine - Natural exists- THEN Within 1 Page View(s) –A user enters the conversion flow (URL based)They place this segment in a freeform table and place the conversion dimension on top, layered with UV’s The internal team set up their report by stacking segments. They have the three below segments stacked on top of each other as well as UV’s: Segment 1Hits Page = HomepageSegment 2HitsSearch Engine - Natural existsSegment 3VisitsPage

I have implemented the Adobe Analytics MCP via oAuth server to server authentication and currently I am able to create connection and maintain sessions for this. However while using the call tools to request and fetch data from any reportSuite I am facing some kind of bug for the tool “findMetrics”.Even after using the “page” & “limit” params I am still getting a large set of data as a response.for e.g. I requested “page”:0 & “limit”:10 but still got returned 86 rows of metrics data, Not sure if this is any issue from server side under which “limit” is not recognized. If anyone else faced this error let me know. For now I have restricted the data by manually slicing the  post my limit.

Hello everyone,We are implementing Adobe Reporting API 2.0, since version 1.4 will be deprecated in August 2026. During implementation, we encountered a limitation in the API design that affects our use case.In Reporting API 2.0, data retrieval is based on dimensions (descriptive attributes such as customer ID, date, page) and metrics (calculated measures such as pageviews and visits). The API always returns aggregated results based on the dimensions provided.Our requirement is to ingest historical data at the lowest possible granularity (near event-level) and/or perform daily loads. To achieve this, we would need to include multiple dimensions (e.g., date, customer ID, page). However, the API processes breakdowns by sending separate requests for each combination of dimensions if we want all dimensions and metrics in a single table.Example: 50 days 30 customers 10 pages This would result in 50 × 30 × 10 = 15,000 API requests.Given this structure, the API appears not scalable for hi

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been encountering a recurring issue when editing dashboards in Adobe Analytics. After making changes, I receive the following error message: "Unable to save your project at this time. You may want to refresh your page and try again."Unfortunately, refreshing the page or closing and reopening the browser does not resolve the issue. The only workaround I've found is restarting my device entirely, though this isn’t a consistent fix either—sometimes the dashboard will save successfully without issue, seemingly at random.Has anyone else experienced this? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

We are seeing second-hit entries being attributed to the CJA Marketing channel. However, in AA, they are classified correctly, as shown in the snapshot below.Currently, we have named this additional attributed channel as “Internal Refresh” in CJA.Is there anyway we can eliminate this data or is there anyway we can consider only "first hit of the visit" in CJA.Here is the snapshot of CJA vs AA  

Hi!!Since late december 25, beginning january 26, we have noticed a spike in Direct / Bookmarked traffic and a drop in SEO. The only reason we could find was that the spike corresponds to an update to iOS 26.We can see clearly the impact iOS had on the dropping of SEO and the rise of Direct.We investigated with other markets / projects / clients, and this does not happen in their results - it is occurring only on this specific project in Spain.The only hypothesis we have is that the iOS update is affecting Adobe and is including visits from iOS 26 as Direct rather than SEO.Is there a way to correct this? 

1) Is event depth metric incremented if same page is visited twice in the same session ? I believe No, but wanted to double confirm.2) Event depth is basically the count of Unique pageView, or does it follow any real order of pageViews to measure the depth ?3) Event depth works based on eventType but all digital clickstream data would have same pageView as eventType, in that case how does it calculate the eventDepth ?

Hello, We are currently using the Adobe WeChat SDK for tracking our Mini Program and doing reporting in AA. The business users are planning to deploy AEP/AJO/CJA and so we are working on the migration options.  The recommendations from Adobe is to keep using the existing SDK for WeChat and keep AA as the data route to send data to AEP, while web sites and mobile apps can use the latest AEP Web/Mobile SDK to send data directly to AEP. This “hybrid” architecture seems very complicated and not easy to maintain, so would like to see if anyone have solution to this migration scenario? Cheers,Tony

On my site, on each page load, we populate the following:Page Type (c1) and Page Type (v1)  - acceptable values “Home” , “Search”, “Product”.v1 is set to expire after the visit.I was expecting to see the same number of visits both for Entry Page type (c1) and Entry Page Type (v1) for each different value of the page Type but I am not.So, assuming that c1 and v1 are properly set each time on each page load, is that normal that the number of visits differ for each page type between the Entry Page type (c1) and the Entry Page Type (v1) report ? The v1 report has a lot of visits with value “unspecified”. 

Hello, When I schedule a macro-enabled Excel file (.xlsm) in the New Report builder, it gets stuck in status “Refresh in Progress”.The same file saved as .xlsx (without macros) run without problems. I suppose this must be a bug, since it’s not documented anywhere that .xlsm files are not supported (which would render the new Report Builder useless for our use case).Any ideas?Best

I'm sharing in case you run across this issue or have a solution. I've run across an issue with migrating classification rules containing custom text values. If the old rule contains a rule type of Regular Expression and a custom text value in the "To" field, the regex does not migrate. I open the rule in the new Classification Sets interface, go to Rules, then click Migrate. The migration completes but the rule screen is blank with the message “Drag and drop a function to get started”. The original rules are missing. (There is no "try and migrate again" option.) Ok. So, I needed to manually rebuild the rules. (If there had been a lot of rules, that would have been a burden.) I rebuilt the rule, saved the rule, and activated it. Some days later, I checked the report and the report did not show the expected custom value but showed "Unknown" instead. After a week, it still showed "Unknown". I then changed the new rule to use $1 instead of the custom value. I checked the report and that w

Every time I close and reopen Excel, I need to login again to use the New Report Builder Add-in, although I enable “Stay logged-in” during login. This is super annoying. When will it support saving login status?

Hi team,I’m working on a 6sense + Adobe Launch integration and facing an issue with how data appears in Adobe Analytics reporting.Current ImplementationOn a first‑time visit, the page loads normally and fires a page view call, followed by a non‑page view call that contains the 6sense attributes (stored in eVars). I’m trying to avoid delaying the page‑view call.If anyone knows how to include 6sense attributes in the initial page‑view call without delaying it, please suggest. On a return visit, I merge the 6sense eVars into the page‑view call.ProblemIn reporting, I see unexpected behavior.Example: In the Country dimension, United States and Unspecified both show 70%+ for Visits—together exceeding 100%.(Refer to attached screenshot.)Any best practices to include 6sense attributes in the initial page‑view hit without delaying it?
