Hello, I am performing checks on webpages that I manage to ensure that we have eVars and events firing to capture visit data. I have been recommended to use a number of different web add-ons but they all have no proved fruitful. Is there any advise on which tools I can use to better track eVars and events on webpages? Thank you all!

We are using webSDK for analytics tracking but we have click data disabled as it was causing double pageviews.Now since it's not enable it should not have data for exits.But I can see numbers in report when I am using exit metrics. I would like to understand, what's contributing to this data? and if that is correct? for me the numbers seems incorrect as in some case exits are same as visits.Any thoughts on this? 

My org has had a few instances of URL paths and/or page names changing globally, so I rely a lot on hit-level segments to replace dimension tables. Something I've noticed is that entries, and therefore bounce rate, does not act as expected in this scenario. When I use a segment that is hit-based with simple (URL = xx or URL = xx2) to combine the pre- and post-change URLs, it gives entries = visits. Looking at the same URLs in a dimension table, the entries is equal to the number of entries on that URL. I understand the mechanics behind why this is happening, technically each occurrence of URL = xx did have an entry, but that's not the entry I'm looking for if I'm using a hit-based segment. This behavior feels off to me and I'm wondering if (aside from creating my own bounce rate metric that doesn't rely on entries) there's a solution or workaround.

Hi, I am trying to implement in Java an Adobe Analytics 2.0 client using open api client generation with this definition  https://adobedocs.github.io/analytics-2.0-apis/datasources.json I need to use the POST JOB endpoint to upload a data file to an existing Data Srouces account. My issue is that I cannot find a way how could I provide the data file to the endpoint createJob. I believe there's an issue with the above api definition for the data sources because also in the swagger page there are errors: Go to  https://adobedocs.github.io/analytics-2.0-apis/?urls.primaryName=Data%20Sources%202.0%20APIs Select a definition : Data Sources 2.0 APIUnder JOB definition there's a POST endpoint that doesn't work (there are also errors in the console). Am I doing something wrong? We're currently building a couple of prototypes for CJA as we start a migration from AA.  I have set up the Web SDK calls, and can see data being sent into the data set.  I've then set up a connection in CJA and I can see that data is being pulled in (when doing Derived Fields I can see values in there). But my Workspace isn't showing the Data View in the drop down.  What would cause Workspace to ignore a Data View? As part of the prototype work I've set up two other data views in the exact same way, and they are both available.  It's just the most recent one that isn't. Any suggestions?

Hi , i want to see if the metrics gets any value or if the value is zero till the end of the daycontext is we have an email free form table which has open delivered clicked metrics with few delivery ids i am monitoring these metrics if the data si flowing or not sometime the data is not flowing till 9pm everyday so i am frequently checking if the values are captured , now i want to create an alert which give me an email if the value is zero till 6pm and another alert saying  if the value is flowing like 1 or 2 it should give me an alert

Microsoft SharePoint has a very limited functionalities and data points available for its embedded analytics. Hence, I am exploring the possiblility of integrating Adobe Customer Journey Analytics into Microsoft SharePoint websites to gather more relevant data. Is it feasible? If yes, how can it be integrated? Will the existing analytics script interfere with the Adobe CJA when pulling site metrics?

Hello.Adding a custom event for page view is suggested so it can be used with eVars as I understand.Does that cause an issue when firing alongside purchase on purchase page? should it be omitted in certain steps or all events can fire anywhere?The main issue we have is that a numeric event is not being sent in all purchases where it should.Also is not an event that fires in the data layer, instead a data layer property that later is setup as an event.Thanks!R 

If someone were to land on my site, scroll through and read all the content on it--all without clicking on anything--then leave, would that be counted as a bounce? If a bounce in Adobe Analytics is defined as a session made up of a single hit, or server call, from the website to Adobe Analytics--what constitutes as a server call?

False alerts are bad news.  Apart from being very annoying, they can cause you to lose trust in your alerts, leading you to ignore real problems. Out of the box Adobe does not offer a way to turn off hourly alerts overnight. This can lead to false alerts being sent as volumes drop and the data becomes more volatile.  However, there is an easy method to disable hourly alerts during specific hours... Imagine a scenario where you wanted to create an alert when 'orders' are below or equal to 1000, but you didn't want this alert to operate between 1:00am and 6:59am. Set up: 1) Create a 'hit' level segment called 'non-core hours' where 'hour of day' is greater than or equal to '1:00am' AND 'hour of day' is less than or equal to '6:00am' 2) Create a calculated metric called 'Metric for core hours order alert' using an 'if' function: Within 'logic_test' place your 'non-core hours' segment with the 'occurrences' metric nested inside it Within 'value_if_true' add a 'Static Number' wi

Hello team,We all have heard that the line between a sProp and an eVar is blurring.From what I can think, an eVar with hit expiration is technically a sProp. And an eVar to be used/useful has to have an expiration longer than a hit. I'm auditing a site with eVars are set as hit/last touch and there are some sProps too (which could have taken care of the hit based). I don't recall any other implementation I audited seeing eVar hit expiration. Would be great to know advantages of doing so, as well as to get some scenarios where each expiration is good idea, specially the useful yet un-intuitive ones. Does it matter now that Adobe offers applying diverse attribution methods to the same call.  That is attribution but still the expiration question is pending. Kindly point me to some blog article if there is one, if not I think would be a great topic, and a segue to how it will be in CJA without props and evars and more of hit or event, visit or session and person or

Test1 and Test3 segments are based on the same Target Activity, but the values are slightly different...In Test 1, the phrase "contains all of" was used to list specific words from the Target Activity, separated by spaces.In Test 3, two "contains" conditions were used within a single container.Given this logic, Test 1 and Test 3 should yield the same result for the Target Activity, so why are the values different? What could be the reason Test 3 is missing some results?Additionally, the Target Activity > Experience dimension sometimes encounters errors in the workspace. Could it be an issue with retrieving data from the Target? 

Hello, I have a question specifically in CJA data view settings, would like some help. I have a string that has the value event345=12 I have used regex to extract the value 12 and deduplicated this dimension to make it as my metric. However since the schema datatype was string its still treated as the same rather making the metric to store the value 12 in it. Could someone help me figure out a hack to achieve what I need without the use of derived field ? reason I am not using derived fields are, I guess we get only 100 derived fields as a limit. Thanks
