Hello,I have an existing processing rule looking at a query string parameter that overwrites the value of a prop.The prop is populating values, but the strings I've tested are not coming up in the reports.Thanks!Ivan

Our website is being rewritten using React.  This gives us a chance to follow best practices with our Adobe Analytics (currently) manually done implementation.  What setup is a best practice for Adobe Analytics (we're not ready to go to Web SDK yet)?  We are looking at Data Collection and adding ACDL.  (There doesn't seem to be a definitive version of "best practice" specified.  I understand that things change quickly, so no one wants to be pinned down.  But there must be something close to standard right now. Are there any pitfalls that React can introduce?

Hi EveryoneI am using CJA I have a Dimension in it, the dimension name is typein the type there isEngagement numbers - i.e. (10, 20, 50, 100, 120, 150, 200 etc) click numbersand othersI wanted to create a filter i.e. the Engagement numbers are > 250 But it's a dimension, is there any way I can use these numbers for comparison in CJA

We are trying to capture some simple campaign parameters in the query string, but it is coming in as "Unspecified". Hello All, There is scenario, where library has been build without selecting 'Environment' and in that library added only one data element and just 'save' rules without any changes. That Library is been submitted to approved state and form there it is been rejected and came back to dev environment and from dev, it is been deleted.   Is it possible that because of the above scenario Adobe Rules will not fire for any of the page load and clicks calls? P.s. this is Direct calls rules build.

Hello! I'm using the Report Builder extension in Excel for Adobe Analytics. I was able to create a data block with default and custom metrics and I'm also able refresh the data. Once I tried scheduling the report as a pdf or xlsx, I'm facing Error: 8000 right after the automatic refresh starts (see screenshot below). I've tried several times with different queries and it's still the same error message. I'm hearing that this procedure works fine on Windows devices. Where can I find the reference for error messages and why am I experiencing the error? I'm using Excel Version 16.95 on Mac OS Sequoia. Any guidance is appreciated!  

In order to optimize the use of our evars and props, we use pipe-delimiters to string together values and then use the Classification Rule Builder to parse them out into classifications for reporting.  For example, eVar99 might be mapped to 'abc123||1|consent|trigger||||||'. The classification rules below would break those out into our classifications that are named like '(v99c) Mobile Client Type', etc.   In most cases, we just parse out the value that is mapped and that's all we need to do. However, in this case, on rule 3, we want to say "if positions 3 = 1 then (v99c) Mobile Client Type = 'Native'. Otherwise it equals 'Not Native', while leaving the remaining rules in place. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance. 

Hi community! I am trying to create a dashboard in Adobe Analytics that distinguishes unique visitors between prospects and clients. I have already created the segments for prospects and clients, but I am encountering the problem that some prospects are actually clients because they later enter our private area and log in. The problem I have is that the value is being counted both in "Clients" and "Prospects" because first they are "Prospects" and then "Clients" with the same sessionID. I am trying to create a segment where "Prospects" only include those who are "Prospects" but I can't manage to do it. Could you help me? Thank you very much.

Hello All, Context:I have taken on a project where custom codes were used liberally to do the implementation. It was discovered that the cancelled beacon were alleviated when a 3 second delay was added to the rule. This was a recommendation from Adobe Support at the time. However, now we have a 3s delay when users click our links and we still the cancelled beacons on this rule.  Now our goal is to address the root cause and the method we are looking to employ is the useBeacon method. The issue is - even with useBeacon method being set to "true" on the Adobe Extension, we are seeing the beacons getting cancelled during testing.  I would like to know ways I can troubleshoot to see why the useBeacon method is failing and what I can do to avoid the cancelled beacons.

Hi all, is it possible to create a dynamic, calculated metric of the retention rate? We use the retention rate extensively in the mobile app environment. Per default in the cohort analysis visual in some workspace projects.I am able to create segments of those values only with fixed time ranges (eg 6 month retention | First time Visits in May > Number of users measured again in November).As soon as I use dynamic time periods/ranges (start of current month -6 months) the segment delivers no data.I need to be able to create those dynamic metrics for a Report Builder export (once per month). Anybody ever done this? Suggestions highly appreciated 🙂

Hi, I am trying to analyze the impact of different marketing channels / campaigns. I've noticed that a lot of our orders are coming from Direct & Session refresh, making it difficult to determine the drivers of these orders. I had the idea of using a Flow visualization for orders (purchase event) by marketing channels, so I could see which channel users are first learning about us, and then where they end up falling into eventually. The problem: when I see the orders # at the last stage of the flow, it shows 5475 orders. However, if I look at a freeform table, and breakdown marketing channel by orders, I see a total of 7,760 orders. What is the reason for this discrepancy? Is this data at least directionally valuable? FYI I am looking at the same date range. Thank you!

When we provide the data layer to mobile developers, they integrate it into their code and release it on the go-live date. Is it possible to abort or control any tracking tags (like trackAction or trackState) in Adobe Launch when they are triggered by specific user actions? Or is it solely in the control of the mobile developers to manage or abort tracking events once they implement the SDK?

Hi all, I'm trying to set up a Target test to be analysed in Adobe Analytics.  When I start an Analytics for Target panel in Analytics, my Activity shows up fine under "Target Activity" but for some reason the "Control Experience" dropdown is empty ("No items found"), so I can't proceed. Presumably my Reporting Settings in Target are setup correctly otherwise the Activity wouldn't be showing up under "Target Activity", and I've checked that the Control activity is correctly set (as far as I'm aware) in Target, so I don't what else to check for...   Can someone point me to towards what I might need to look into to get Target and Analytics to talk to each other?   Thanks in advance,   Achilles

I am starting a new job in a few weeks, and am taking the training for the Business Practitioner certificate.  It would be advantageous to have this before I start.  So as to put what I learn into practice, it would be useful to have a test instance that I can use to try things out.  Is there such a thing?  I do not yet have access to a live instance.  In case the above seems like a tall order, I should mention I am already a GA professional, so most of the concepts are already familiar to me.  Thanks

Hi, everyone. I have a question regarding an issue with the Excel report generated using Report Builder.I scheduled a report from an Excel file that was last refreshed on March 11, 2025, setting it to send every day. However, the PDF report I received on March 13 still contained data from March 11, 2025.According to the official documentation, if a schedule is set, the entire report should be automatically refreshed before being sent. Based on this, I expected to receive data from March 13 automatically.Even considering possible delays, the report should at least contain data from March 12, but since it still includes data from March 11, I am wondering if this is the intended behavior of the scheduling feature or if there is an issue.As a test, I manually used "Send Now" on March 14, expecting to receive the latest data. However, the report still contained data from March 11.I checked the options but could not find any settings related to scheduling. How can I fix this issue?Summa
