WF Time Log Reports

Avatar

Level 1
Is there was any way to obtain an overview of how much time was logged to specific projects/tasks within WF? I wanted to review the time I spent on certain projects so I have a better idea of where improvements can be made from an efficiency standpoint and apply that to my Goals & Objectives for 2020. Any input or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much. Saeyoung Kim

@Saeyoung Kim Sounds like you are looking for an Hour Report that shows how many actual hours were logged over a specific time frame. If you go into Reporting > New Report and select Hour from the dropdown menu, you can apply a filter for Hour > Entry Date in which you can specify Last Week, Last Month, Last Year, between two specific dates, etc. from the dropdown menu. In your groupings tab, I would recommend first grouping the results by Project Name followed by Task Name so that you can quickly see how the hours are organized. You can apply a chart to get a visual representation of your hours, where the axes are dependent on your groupings. The last thing to note would be applying a summary to your hours column. In the columns tab of your report, select the column header Hours and you will see a field/dropdown menu for "summarize this column by." If you select SUM from that menu, when your report is run and groupings are applied, the hours column will be summed up into your grouping for a quick total. If you have any questions, let me know!
