Using Proof to share a creative brief on one drive

I’d like to use the proof functionality to share a Word file located on OneDrive with my team for their comments. Is it possible to do this without having to upload the file?

do you have any thoughts on using the interactive proofing functionality to generate a proof of the OneDrive link to your word file?
