Turn on notifications on the Sandbox1 environment?

We are testing an integration with Workfront where we programmatically share a file to appropriate people. We are testing the integration on Sandbox but Sandbox doesn't send out notifications, so we can't fully test it there. I am reluctant to do testing on production for obvious reasons.
