It wasn't possible with core. I built a scenario in fusion by adding a trigger and configuring the advanced settings as per the requirement. It then auto-generated the timesheet at the given time frame.
Hi @SejalRaj
Here is a link to the documentation for the creation, edit and assignment of timesheets. Within the Timesheet Profile you will find the options of how often to create timesheets.

If you found this useful, please mark as correct.
I have the Product and Profile Administrator roles, there I am not able to find any option to auto-generate the timesheet. If I am trying to configure it, I am unable to assign timesheet to any user. Is it because I need the System Administrator access level to be able to find the auto-generate option?

@SejalRaj -when a timesheet profile is assigned to users it should autogenerate the timesheet each week. If you are unable to assign the timesheet profile to a user I would reach out to your system administrator to review access or update the user's profile.
I did get the access and I am able to assign users, but what I cannot do is set the timesheet to auto-generate in sandbox. Is there any other way that the timesheet could be set to auto-generate in production or sandbox?

There is no setting that specifically says 'auto-generate' or something. If you have a timesheet profile and then assign that profile to user(s) in their user profile (there is a field to select which timesheet profile to associate with the usr), it will automatically generate timesheets every timeframe you set (with 1 timesheet created for the immediate future week). In the timesheet profile, Set Details tab, you have preferences there to set for 1) how often to create timesheets (weekly, every other week, twice per month, monthly) and 2) on which day of the week does the timesheet timeframe start.
@SejalRaj just checking in! Were you able to get this resolved? If one of the replies above helped—whether it completely solved the issue or simply pointed you in the right direction—marking it as accepted can make it much easier for others with the same question to find a solution. And if you found a different way to fix it, sharing your approach would be a great contribution to the community. Your follow-up not only helps close the loop but also ensures others benefit from your experience. Thanks so much for being part of the conversation!
