Has anyone noticed that @ tagging has reverted back to showing the users first and last name in the update? Is this going to be fixed with the 2020.1 release?

Yes, it's very odd when you're tagging @John Smith and it doesn't come up as just John!

Our enterprise benefits from the first and last name. Is using only the first name the goal? We are a larger group with some people having the same first name and it can be confusing.

Hi Jennifer!
Workfront made the change to only show the users first name in a release last year. Now it's suddenly reverted back to first and last name. So regardless of preference, I was curious if others have noticed this.

Hello! Yes, as part of the 2020.1 release we made a change to the way tagged names are displayed in Update Stream. We've moved to first and last name as a link to the user profile. This brings tagging more in line with conventional tagging behavior and gives it visual distinction. This is the behavior in both Classic and New Workfront Experience.
