Quick Tip: You can remove name prefixes on Groupings

Ever want to streamline Grouping names in a report by removing the prefix? Cleaning up the Grouping name from Portfolio: Name: Marketing Portfolio to simply Marketing Portfolio or shortening Condition: On Target to On Target can make a report much easier to read at a glance!

Update your Groupings by following these easy steps:

  1. Edit the report, click on "Groupings", and switch to text mode.
  2. Change “group.0.namekey=whatever” to “group.0.name=“ for the top Grouping, "group.1.namekey=whatever" to "group.1.name=" for the second Grouping, "group.2.namekey=whatever" to "group.2.name=" for the next grouping, and so on.

Hi @Kyna Baker - inactive‚

Just wondering, likewise the members in the group contributed their experience and live examples for building a cookbook for reporting. Why can't we share such their best practices and experiences about creating different Custom forms with different fields such as calculated one?

This will be a great input and guidance for all of us.

Hi Kundan,

Doing a cookbook about custom forms and calculated fields is a very interesting idea for sure. I'll keep it in mind as we think about what our next cookbook might be.

Thanks,

Kyna
