ITEM 1: We're currently using a home-grown project management solution and are switching to Workfront. We have a pre-existing DAM ( not by Workfront) that has some integration with our home-grown project management solution that basically starts-up a cataloging workflow via custom code and uses a button "pull from PM solution" to grab metadata for the upload out of the project and asset-specific details stored there. Fusion has no canned solutions for our DAM (nor do we have a budget for Fusion), so we're looking at an API-based solution. We have an internal web/digital group; how hard to would it be for them to learn to use the Workfront APIs to create us a solution to extract the metadata we need out of a custom form? Basically we have a rigid file name system that has the Artwork ID at the start of the file name that serves as the common key between the PM system and the DAM. If the DAM finds a match in the PM system's table, it can grab the rest of the necessary metadata. Hope that is enough detail; trying to get some idea of level of effort. ITEM 2: Is there a specific document or URL that would be the perfect primer to get something like this working? THANKS! Kevin Quosig
