I can't get a Proof for video (.MP4) to work via proofs within the Adobe Workfront App.
This also does not work with a browser on a mobile device. Tested on iphone. Also tested on Android.
Been this way for a couple of months and need this function day to day.
Is there a way to proof video on mobile with Adobe Workfront?
I think I got it working on a cellphone browser earlier this year, but it was not a pleasant experience.
I think in order to get it done, I had to make sure I had "Request Desktop Website" selected. (in Safari, you click on the AA icon next to your URL, and select Request Desktop Website from the dropdown.

Since the Proofs App went offline - Proofs prompts you to use the Adobe Workfront Mobile app.
There's so much created for mobile now I'm really hoping they get this working on the app. Even if the functionality mobile side needs to be reduced to comments and a simple approved/denied function on Mobile.
I'll test what you're suggesting though to see if it works in a pinch.

I hear you.
I've been telling Adobe's product team for a while now, that the mobile app needs to be on par with the desktop functionality where Proof is concerned. I can't possibly tell a leader -- let alone any user -- that they can only view certain proofs on their mobile device. Most of our users are not to the level where they can remember "I can view files but not websites or movies on my mobile device".
Let me know if you can't get it working and I might have time to create a recording that shows what I did and what functionality I was able to tap into.

I have nothing to add to the conversation but I am curious if you're willing to share more information about your workflow. Specifically I wonder why this task is specifically relegated to mobile devices, it seems like no one has computers? From a practical perspective, viewing, and commenting on video might be a complex task for an application on cellular connection - a regular computer would provide a much better experience.

in my small experience, this type of thing happens when reviewers get to be director-level and above. This type of user might be always on the go, travelling between states, or just feel like some sort of a tablet or other mobile device suits their needs better. I'm sure this will also happen even below director level, if there's a group of users that travels or is somehow considered "in the field"
