Project Updates Visibility for All Team Members

Our group works with four different brands and requires a lot of collaboration and visibility to communication between projects. Other than creating a team and tagging them in every comment, is there something else we can do to provide visibility to project updates for everyone on a project? We want people to be able to go back to the project updates and see everything.

Hi @corycl,

One approach could be to create a Notes or Journal report with prompts (e.g. Project, Entry Date, Entered By, Notes Text, etc.), possibly with "Run As" permissions of a user who can see everything, then place it prominently somewhere (e.g. on a dashboard to be pinned) so users can then quickly search for what's of interest.

Another might be to schedule a similar report that looks back a certain amount of time (e.g. 7 days) and schedule it to send periodically (e.g. weekly) via email.

And finally, if you're interested in something more visual, I invite you to consider The Scoop, which is an oldie but a goodie, as the juicy bits of this video illustrate. The first part of the video shows how you to deploy it into your instance (noting that you might need to use an API Key instead of a Password, where the latter is mentioned).

Regards,

Doug
