PHQ: Attaching Documents to Reviewer Comments

Avatar

Level 10

We just noticed today that reviewers can attach documents to their Comments.

However, it's not obvious to the planner this has happened, and is really easy to miss.

  1. When opening the proof, there doesn't seem to be an indicator on the comment that an attachment exists? Or am I missing it?
  2. When exporting the PDF (which is how our designers prefer to work in many cases, so they get a checklist), aside from "[file attached]" there is no other useful feedback, nor the attachment.
  3. The Document listing in WF doesn't seem to give any hint an attachment exists?
  4. The task the routed document is on also doesn't seem to give feedback about attachments?

Maybe I'm just missing something because this caught me off guard?

I'm inquiring with Support about turning this ability off; but in the meantime wonder how others deal with this issue?
