My Work - Using Chrome

While in Chrome, the "My Work" tab is now blank. It had worked before, but now I can only get it in Firefox. Any updates on this that I missed? Thanks, Dave Dave Rulon

Mine is still working in Chrome. They may be in the process of the new release in your instance or something. Did you close the Chrome browser and try again. Sometimes that helps. Do you know what cluster you're in? I think we're in CL01 or CL03. Yeah that's what I was referring to. Clusters 02 & 04 are scheduled to go tonight. Well I'm not sure of your timezone, but it was supposed to start at 8pm Mountain Time (US). it's not 8PM Mountain time anywhere in the world, and there are no scheduled changes for My Work. There was talk of providing Home as an option with the 18.1 release, but this was postponed to 18.3. I'd suggest submitting a helpdesk ticket and clearing your cache is probably the first thing they are going to request you do, so you may as well do that and reboot before you call them :) have fun! -skye

Hi Skye, I'm still seeing that the new Home option is going live with 18.1. Do you know where I can get an updated list of what's going live tonight? I'm preparing a short summary right now to send out to the users of what changes to expect tomorrow morning so there are no surprises. I've had this problem for a week, and I'm the only user affected. I've done all the maintenance stuff (as a system admin, that's the first place I go!), but for now I'm opening it in IE as a workaround. Pretty sure it has nothing to do with updates and it definitely is not a Flash issue as all my Flash tools are operational in Chrome. I plan to submit a ticket ... when I get time. I'll be interested in seeing if anyone else has an answer before I get around to the ticket submission. Since it's only me, I've not made it a priority. Where did you see/hear the Home thing was postpone? I haven't seen anything indicating that and the Release overview still lists it. You might try the User Reset. Open the profile of the person. For yourself just click on your picture (see attached). For someone else you'll have to Login as them. Once you get to the profile, change the URL node after .com/ to resetUser. That is case sensitive. You'll get the screen below. Click on the top reset button. The message looks ominous but I haven't had a user have any issues after resetting. Then give it a try again (might be good to close the browser first – I don't think you have to but it doesn't hurt). SOLUTION: It was a block on the company side of things. We have uBlock (apparently) on our Google Chrome. It was preventing the page from loading. I noticed the small shield in the top right of my browser window after 1) Making sure I had the latest version of Chrome, 2) Updating to the latest version of Java, 3) Updating to the latest version of Flash player and 4) Clearing my Cache in Google Chrome (All suggested by Workfront). After noticing the small shield in the top right of the browser window, I clicked on it as was shown the attached image with the blue button. I clicked the button to turn it off, and refreshed the browser. Bingo. Other notes: I didn't try the reset user option as I was a little nervous about that. Workfront could sign in as me, and see the "My Work" page while in Chrome. I signed in as other users and couldn't see their "My Work" page either. I also called the other users, and they verified that they couldn't see their "My Work" page in Chrome. So it was determined that it was on our side of things Also, 18.1 rolled out for Clusters 2 and 4 yesterday. Clusters 1,3 and 5 are rolling out today. Thanks for keeping everyone posted, Skye, and for correcting my errors! I had the dates wrong at the user group in Seattle, but the good news is that 18.1 has Workfront Home in production as an opt-in beta. And, I want to thank all of you who have already tested it out and provided feedback. I can't believe how much great feedback we have received in only a few hours! Cool. Yeah don't fear that reset. It's been harmless and usually does the trick when someone goes to their view but the last View/Filter/Grouping they were in has been deleted (or they entered bad code) – and they get blankness on their screen.
