loading time into Workfront

Hello, We record time in Sage Intacct and then import the data into workfront. We load by project and then have tasks that we load into the Hours task field. So for example 1/15/2020 Project = ABC; Task = Project Manager; Hours = 5 (with tasks loaded into the description) 1/15/2020 Project = ABC; Task = Data Conversion; Hours = 20 (with task name loaded into description) Workfront combines these two rows on the kickstart into one hour entry in the Hours object. so you get 1/15/2020 Project = ABC; Description = Project Manager Data Conversion; Horus = 25 This is not desirable as we would like to understand the Project Manager Hours vs. the Data Conversion hours. Any ideas? John Hoebler Cross Country Consulting

Hi John, the issue is, that in Workfront you can't have multiple hour entries on one task/day combination. We solved this by creating hour types "Line 2", "Line 3" and so on. If the user adds hours manually, he just has to select a different "line", if the hours are filled by the API, we first check for an available "line" and us that to add the hour. Hope this helps!
