Kick start projects with notes

Does anyone know if it is possible to kick start projects and insert notes without relying on a custom field? I have tried setStatusUpdate and setNoteText I am simply doing a PROJ Project import. It imports successfully, but I do not actually see the notes imported. Has anyone been able to accomplish something similar and been successful? Hi Jaclyn, Our "http://store.atappstore.com/product/excel-updater/">Excel Updater solution can insert Notes, and I've attached a simple example. The gotcha's include: The ID will be assigned upon insert (but needs to have a unique value in the spreadsheet) The noteObjCode (e.g. PROJ) and objID determine "under which object" the Note will be stored -- in your case, the Project Notes cannot be back-dated, so I typically prefix them with the original date, an optional sequence (for conversation threading), and the original person who made the comment, since -- when inserted -- they'll go in as "you" Regards, Doug Doug Den Hoed - AtAppStore Got Skills?
