On the new dashboard some of our users have the widget 'projects I'm on'.
The projects that are displayed are showing projects that the users are not part of.
Does anyone know what drives this and how it can be corrected
Many thanks in advance

The fastest way to check is to go to the People tab on a project in question. Does the user's name appear there? If so, they are or were on that project at one time. I don't know the tech rules on what drives the actual widget but this would be my first (educated) guess.
TIP: if this solved your problem, I invite you to consider marking it as a Correct Answer to help others who might also find it of use.

Randy's answer is correct, the 'People' tab represents the Project Team and drives the Project's I'm On functionality.
That particular tab happens to be considerably stickier than one would expect, and often reflects a confusing list of people that you won't find currently associated to the project. They can come to be listed there a variety of ways, including inheriting from the project's Template People, they were ever assigned a task even if later removed, or were once the owner, or sponsor of the project. Removing them from any of those spots does not update the People tab, that can currently only be done manually.
Thanks Katherine. That makes it less useful for our users.
Do you know how users can now view 'tasks' list, in the dashboard to track incoming/current work?
We seem to have lost this with the new dashboard

Hi Randy.
Thanks for this I've just looked at your idea requests.
Do you know of a workaround so that users can now view 'tasks' list, in the dashboard to track incoming/current work?

Hi, I can see a "My Tasks" widget to view tasks that are assigned to me, although I would recommend using the "My Work" widget instead. My Work has filters much more similar to the old, and excellent Home area, as well as listing tasks and issues together. The end user doesn't really care if it's a task or an issue. For them, it's just "something I have to do". I think separating them is a over-complication mistake.
Regarding your "workaround" question; what tasks do you want to see? How would you want them filtered?
