Is there any way to calculate an issue planned start date and planned end date based on some custom dates?

We'd like to enter some custom dates in a WF custom form and use those custom dates to calculate the planned start date and planned end date for an issue.  Is there any way to do that?

We've used Fusion to do some things like this.
