Is there a way to pull in the data in the text field of a Task level update into a report? For example, if a user goes to a task, clicks on Update and keys in "Working on this now" is it possible to pull this text into a column on a report?

Hi Meg,

Yes, you could achieve this by building a note report within Workfront. Adding a filter rule to this report which states: Note>>Note Text contains "Working on this now" would return all updates that contain these words.

Best Regards,

Rich.

Thanks Rich! In this scenario, the text added to the Task Update tab might now always say "working on this now" but good to know for next time! The column I was looking for was the Last Note: Note Text column (I was looking for an option in the Column view called "update". "Note" is what I needed.) Thank you!
