Hey everyone!

My name is Nate Bagley. I'm the new Community Manager here at Workfront.

My job is to support you, answer your questions, facilitate conversations, help you get to know the Workfront software better, and make this community a cool place for you to visit regularly. I'm really excited to get to know you all personally.

I'd love it if you'd upload a profile picture of yourself here is a walkthrough of how to do that if you get stuck ) and then introduce yourself briefly in the comments below by answering one or all of these questions:

How do you use Workfront?

What would make this community amazing for you?

How much time do you spend using Workfront on a daily basis?

What are you passionate about (other than work)?

What's your favorite joke?

Here's a little about me: I'm very passionate about podcasting, I love Lindy Hop dancing, my guilty pleasure is the Muppets, and I'm super excited to be here at Workfront. I know the team here cares about you a lot. They're really excited to meet a bunch of you at LEAP in a few weeks. Ok, your turn! Upload that profile picture , and introduce yourself!

Hello World (is that played out?) Thanks, Nate for opening up this dialog. My name is Mandy Anger and I'm the new-ish Product Manager here at Workfront. I am lucky to be on a fantastic team that owns some great features in the product, including My Work, Agile, and Resource Scheduling. One of the best parts of my job is that I get to work with all of you to help continue improving the existing features and build cool new features to help us all get work done. So, onto Nate's questions: How do you use Workfront? Like you, I'm in WF everyday. I'm managing projects and checking on statuses. It's where I keep all that great feedback I receive from customers. To steal from Mike Hall, our team uses Workfront to track all of the features and functionality, the requirements, the user research and validation all in Workfront. What would make this community amazing for you? The community is a valuable resource for me and the other PMs to get quick feedback from customers, whether we are asking a general question about how work gets done or asking for specific feedback on a feature or tool. I love having instant access to a super user group where I can bounce ideas or validate plans. I'm looking forward to engaging with everyone regularly here! How much time do you spend using Workfront on a daily basis? I'm generally in and out of Workfront all day. What are you passionate about (other than work)? I love to travel! I'm always planning the next trip and looking for new places to check out--let me know the cool places in your neck of the woods. I also love to eat and I'm always on the lookout for new restaurants to try. I can't travel and eat all the time (but I wish I could!), so in my downtime I like to read. What's your favorite joke? I have a terrible memory and can only remember knock knock jokes, so here goes: Knock, knock Who's there? Little old lady Little old lady, who? I didn't know you could yodel! I've already been lucky enough to meet some of you and I look forward to working with all of you in the future. I appreciate your commitment to Workfront. Thank you for your willingness to collaborate with us to make Workfront an even better tool to help us all get work done.

Hello everyone!! Alex Blanco here from Chicago. How do you use Workfront? We currently use Workfront in our Marketing department as well as a few of the business units that work closely with the Marketing Department. What would make this community amazing for you? We're possibly going to be expanding WF to other business units and then maybe the whole company so it would be great to see tips and dos-and-don'ts in terms of implementation and training. How much time do you spend using Workfront on a daily basis? My time using Workfront varies depending on my other priorities. I am also part of the Web Content Operations team so when that isn't demanding my attention I probably spend about 35-50% of my day in WF. What are you passionate about (other than work)? I'm passionate about sports (especially baseball and football), technology, art, cars, and asking Google random questions. What's your favorite joke? My favorite joke is usually my last one.

Welcome, Alex. Would you kindly provide some sample random questions that you think Google gives the most entertaining responses to? Thanks! Eric

Hi Eric, One of the funniest responses I got from Google was when I asked "Who is the villain in Beauty and the Beast". I can't remember the whole answer, and Google's results have changed since then so I can't recreate it, but it said that Gaston was the antagonist and also an "arsehole". Apologies if thats a global curse word

Just for giggles, I asked Google what the distance from the earth to the moon is in CVS receipts. I found the Earth is eight CVS receipts from the moon. For our non-USA readers, we have a chemist/pharmacy/drug store called CVS in the Colonies. When you finish at the till, they give you what the industry recognizes as the longest receipt. They have your purchase documented at the top, then they use the next two feet of receipt to give you coupons and advertisements. You walk out of the store holding two and a half feet (around 75 centimeters) of paper in your hand, trailing like a giant ribbon behind you. Or, alternatively, you ironically reject CVS’s lack of environmental sensitivity and wad it up into a golf ball of disgust and toss it in the bin. Or, as some do, let it free in the wind of the parking lot/car park to festoon nearby trees and shrubs. ☺

I am a manger for software and electrical engineers. We will use Workfront to keep transparency to the rest of the organization. I like to learn more about advanced reporting features, and I struggle to find the appropriate methods to reproduce what is capable in the existing interface for some items which appear to be JOIN's between different item types. I like the ID => :name trick which works for some of my concerns, but I don't get why the Named version is not just in the list already to pick from. One example is that I would like to give a link to each of 'n' attachments to an object (Issue typically) in one or multiple columns of a report (bonus if I can filter required documents vs supplemental ones). Hey everyone, I figured it's high time I posted here, as I intend on becoming a bit more active with our community. I started life at AtTask in May of 2013. When I finished my training, I came in on a Friday to wrap up my last day of shadowing, and our only night person found it necessary to take a permanent leave. Sunday I came in to a phone ringing, and took 3 support calls within an hour. Yes Bill from Barnabas, I remember both times you called in that day. I worked the night shift for about 2 years before I slowly staggered my way into a day shift. I got to know many of our customers quite well, some of whom we've acquired their admins as employees (Giued!!) I moved up to our Tier 2 team around July/August of 2015. In 2016 I took a 2 1/2 month reprieve and found that the grass really isn't greener on the other side. Fortunately I was able to confirm I have an amazing manager, and a great team, whom decided to give me a second chance... Even though I still get side comments about being a deserter, I have to say I love where I work, and can't imagine being anywhere else. That said, I specialize more with our email side, outlook plugin, and work quite frequently with our network ops team (kindly referred to as our plops team internally... aka platform operations.) I am currently an Assigned Support Engineer, and have a list of clients such as United Fire Group, Mathworks, Jones Lang LaSalle, and many others. I love the companies I work with, and while I miss some of the other folks from my Tier 1 days, I still get to work with awesome people when I am backup for other ASE's that are out of the office (ahem.. Anthony Imgrund, Eric Lucas, Michelle Church, etc.) While there are times that are difficult, and people that are demanding, I look forward to coming in to Workfront every day to make sure the companies I work with, get the best support possible. I'll try to keep an eye on at least the Global Digest email that gets sent out, but those of you that know me, know that I will still try to help you out, whether you're my direct client or not. Hope you all enjoy your day! Dustin Martin Assigned Support Engineer Workfront

It was a pleasure working with you when you handled those of us who can't afford a special Tech yet. The nice thing for us has been I haven't had to call the Helpdesk in about 2-3 months. That's been a really nice change. Kudos to the team. And Congrats on your happy moves.
