I have a couple tasks that are similar to General Tasks but I don't want to add them as a General Task (don't want them on the timesheet if not selected).

I want the tasks to be optional and allow users to select to log time and enter updates if they are working on the task. The task would be available to all team members to select. Today I added these tasks to the team project for the whole year and so it shows on everyone's timesheet and work list. Any suggestions?‚
