How to Customize Card Fields That Show Up At A Glance On A Board?

Avatar

Level 4

The only fields we can currently show on a card at a glance without clicking into the card is Due Date, Estimation, Assignees, and Status.

Is there any way to get around this? Plenty of software on the market enables you to customize this view so I'm curious to why Workfront doesn't offer this.

Wondering if anyone in the community has any ideas or resolution for this?

Because of the limited real estate of cards, you can only add so much info at a glance. However, if you toggle on the option to add a custom field, you'll see other task/issue-related fields you can pull into the card details to show when clicking into the card. Not what you're looking for but just know at least you can pull in more info into the cards than what shows as default options there.

@kautuk_sahni I went ahead and accepted the response below but I still think the boards functionality needs a lot of improvement for it to be streamlined. There is a lot of board tools out there that have these functionalities so I hope Adobe can mirror these in Workfront eventually.

@ConnorO2 thank you for sharing your feedback. I would recommend that you create a Feature improvement request in Workfront Ideas section. The top ideas are reviewed by the PM team every six months.
