We are looking for a way for project owners to track the amount of hours logged to a project. Ideally we would have the project owner approve time for the project and that in turn is synced with the timesheets but that doesn't seem to be an option. So I was curious what other options are for managing the amount of time logged to projects to make sure we're still within the scope of work.

We have a chronic issue with designers going over Planned Hours. We really wish Planned Hours was a hard number that caused errors if anyone exceeded when logging time.
