Hiya! My company will be leaving Workfront soon (bummer), and they're looking to download all the documents the team has uploaded to WF Projects (think around 1000 projects) in bulk; they want to avoid having to ask each manager to locate their projects and download all the docs, project by project.
Is there any way of doing this that doesn't involve API and developers?

You could download the documents by running a document report, but I highly recommend you involve API and developers as this will be less messy and a lot less error-prone. Tagging in @Doug_Den_Hoed__AtAppStore
Thanks @skyehansen and hi @solcardin-united,
As mentioned in our Workfront Snapshot solution (which many clients who've left over the years used to efficiently download their Workfront data), we also offer an optional Extract Documents service.
The latter creates a logical folder structure mimicking the Project > Task > Issue hierarchy with a copy of the documents stored in Workfront created in the corresponding Document > Version child folders. At your direction, it can either include (most commonly, practically) just the current version of every such document, or every version; and (most commonly, just in case) every document, or some filter-specified subset.
To discuss either our Workfront Snapshot solution and/or our Extract Document service, I invite you to contact me via doug.denhoed@atappstore.com.
Regards,
Doug
Thank you, Doug! And @skyehansen!
I'll discuss these options with my management and reach out once we decide if we're going the API route or the Workfront Snapshot solution.
Thank you!

Hi, @skyehansen! I'm trying to find the documentation that explains how to download the files with the API to provide the info to my techs, but I can't find it. I'm sure I saw it last week. Do you know where I can find documentation on this?
Thanks!

Best to just point your techs at the whole collection of documentation here, and let them find everything else they need in the process:
