Hi,
If I want to upload a new version for a document with proofing I'm continuously receiving the message: error generating proof.
This is already going on for a while and I don't know how to fix it. Documents aren't to big, I've cleaned the cache + I've tried different browsers.
In the meantime I'm uploading the files as a new proof but I hope someone has a solution available.
Kind regards,
Marjolein

Hi @Marjolein_R
we came across this as well. One reason is that the pixel dimensions were too large: height * width must be lower than 65.5k pixels (client had significantly larger).
We also have a ticket open (2 months) where some files just fail to create a proof. File type is OK, file is small - but there is some failure.
If the failing files are not above the pixel limit, you should create a ticket.

Thank you,Then my question would be: why doesn't it give an error if it's uploaded as a new document/proof?
I already deliberately upload the low.res files. Checked the files and it should be in the mentioned limits.
I'll create a ticket then.

Because upload = just stored with Workfront.
Proof: separate system the file literally gets copied and processed in the Proof system (where the error occurs)
It's not about low-rez, but about dimensions:
Our client had JPGs whose dimensions were 10,000 x 20,000 pixels. (JPG export from like a CAD/drawing tool)
