I've just begun recently looking into this and there's a few observations I have:
Why can't I create a story directly in the Agile view? (leftmost column)
There's no concept of iterations on the Agile view, so why can't I set a planned start date when I create a subtask? It just asks for planned hours
If I create a task without planned hours I can't add hours in later on the Agile view - I need to click on the task and edit there?
I'm guessing best practice is only to go Story>Subtask and no further?
e.g. the subtask of a subtask below is displayed in a 'lesser' way to its parent and doesn't look very friendly:
