Deleted Status Still Shows

I deleted a status for our issues last week. There are/were no issues using this status but the deleted status still shows up as an option on all issues. Any idea why this is happening?

Is it possible that the status was unlocked when you deleted it? I think if that's the case, you may have accidentally deleted it only for "system status" and left it on all your other groups.

 

You can check other groups to see if it's still there -- the project that the issues are stored in, would tell you which group the issues are tapping for statuses. I think if you're not familiar with the setup area, the best thing is to go to the group and check there.

You can log into a sandbox (not the preview one, obviously), to see if your deleted status was locked or not -- if you don't remember locking it.

I've had this happen multiple times over the past month; Support was able to delete the status for me. The deleted status(es) were showing up as an option when building reports, too.

Support was able to help me resolve. If you go to Setup and Groups and into each group, under status, you can delete. I needed to delete on every group.
