Need to know how to add an instruction/tooltip for the subject field in a request queue. Mainly to instruct the user to follow a specific nomenclature for the Subject.

Either you can add Native field(referencing any standard fields) or you can use Descriptive field on the top of your Issue form of the Request queue.

I'm not sure if you can get tooltip for the subject line specifically, but if you embed request queue on a dashboard you can use project description, which will work almost as a tooltip, e.g.

hope this helps

Best way would be to set it up as a Native Field in your custom form and put your instructions there. There is a good demo here:

I agree that we should be able to change the label, as the "request subject" is a required field you can't hide. The native field would work if you could hide the "subject" required field. I also found an earlier request submitted on this that should be combined with this request/question.
