Hello Everyone, I'd like to do something the WF Help folks have apparently said isn't possible, but I thought it would be worth putting out to the community too. You're all very smart and creative, and I think this one may give your creativity muscles a bit of exercise. I'd LOVE to create a Pareto chart for some of my data. The definition of a Pareto chart (from the "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareto_chart">Pareto Chart Wikipedia article ) is " a type of chart that contains both "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bar_chart" title="Bar chart">bars and a "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_chart" title="Line chart">line graph , where individual values are represented in descending order by bars, and the cumulative total is represented by the line." Here is a picture of what they can look like (also from "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareto_chart">the Wikipedia article ): Sometimes the line just starts from the top of the first column and grows from there. Either way is acceptable. In my particular case, I have a pile of WF Issues. Each Issue has been categorized via a custom drop-down field. I'd like to make a Pareto chart based on the # of issues in each category. I know about Workfront's "Combination Chart" fuctionality inside Bar and Column charts. Seems like it should work with that, right? But no luck, at least so far. There are two things I've been unable to make WF do:
List the columns in descending order by count (WF lists them alphabetically), and
Show the line as a cumulative value (WF only shows the count of each category and the line just follows the columns).
There you go. Something to chew on, anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with. Best Regards -- Matthew Brinkerhoff doTERRA
