I am trying to turn a specific task background to a certain color when a custom form boolean is set to "No". This doesn't seem possible using the column rules since there is only one conditional field, and this seems to need two fields to make it work. Is it possible to combine two rules using "Text Mode"?

Hi @KyRi12
You can't do a dynamic comparison of 2 fields to define a rule.
But, you can create a calculated field in a hidden section (task level) with the conditions you cited and then use the value of that field to define the rule.

I'm not sure I understand. It seems like you only have one rule, and that's if a field is set to No. I would think then, that deleting the field that is provided, and selecting a new field, would be the way you'd go. Let me know if I misunderstood something above.

Sorry for the confusion, I was wondering if you could "chain" conditions inside a single rule or if that is possible using "Text Mode".
For example, I'd have a field that says:
"When the > Project Custom Form Field = No"
Then I would have another rule activate under that condition. So if that form field says "no" this would change the background of a task with a specific name:
"If name contains 'Approval' > change background color"
I hope this makes more sense!
