Job Title: Business Operations Architect
Overview:
As the Business Operations Architect, you will play a vital role in understanding and managing the intricate data flows, integration points, and technical environment of our marketing operations. This position will focus on creating comprehensive environment maps and facilitating the growth of our systems over time. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the effective execution of campaigns and seamless data integration, primarily within the Adobe ecosystem, while also leveraging tools such as MIRO and Workfront.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain environment maps that illustrate the flow of data and integrations across our marketing technology landscape, including Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe CDP, and AEM.
- Analyze technical and operational requirements to improve marketing campaign operations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate data integration, optimize existing processes, and ensure compliance with CDP requirements.
- Understand and articulate data integration concepts, discuss payload requirements, and address security considerations related to data flows and processing.
- Manage the evolution of our marketing technology environment, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Create and present visual aids (e.g., PowerPoint, MIRO boards) to communicate complex concepts effectively to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of marketing technology, particularly Adobe products such as Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe CDP.
- Experience with APIs and understanding their role in data integration.
- Knowledge of data integration concepts, CDP requirements, and best practices in managing payload requirements and security.
- Proficiency in diagramming and visual communication tools (e.g., MIRO, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management tools like Workfront is a plus.
- A generalist approach with a keen curiosity to learn and understand various technical systems and integrations.
- Proven experience in creating detailed technical documentation and environment maps.
- Familiarity with coding languages such as JavaScript, SQL, or Python for data manipulation and integration is preferred.
