We've noticed that user notification settings have auto-updated from time to time, causing users to miss important notifications.
Event notifications at the system and group levels have not been touched in quite some time, so that is not the cause.
Users have reported that they didn't change their personal settings, and some didn't even know personal notification settings were an option.
It would be great if Admins had the ability to track notification setting changes. This might look like having notification changes somehow recorded in the update stream on the user's profile.
