Time-off Calendar

We are heavy users of the Time-off Calendar in our Workfront instance but the time-off calendar has limitations and only shows the blocks of time but no option for additional text or notes. 

It would be beneficial to see some detail in the time-off calendar as our teammates spend time away but that time is not necessarily related to personal time-off nor is it related to a project task.  

The current design does not permit any additional information and a reportable notes field would be so very helpful.

maybe as simple as the same options given by outlook when you're 'OOO' - unavailable, working elsewhere, etc....

We're also working with users' calendars and we're having trouble figuring out how they can block off more than one block on one day.  Right now we are running in to a limit the system is only allowing users to add one timeblock per day to their calendars, and we would like it to be more granular.  For example, someone might be unavailable 8-10am and also 1-3pm on the same day, but available the rest of the workday hours on that same day...  WF isn't allowing this, it's making users either block the entire day or just choose one of their blocked times and not both.  How can we display this?

Anybody run in to this before?
