Save a Request prior to Submit

Ability to Save versus Submit a request - many requests are large and require the ability to be built out and saved before final submission. This is becoming more and more important as we push towards having ALL required information in a Workfront request.

This is the only functionality that is making us explore other platforms to manage our creative workflow. It is imperative that we see some progress on this or some timelines on the 'larger initiative'. It has been a long time coming.

This topic continues to come up as we roll Workfront out to more groups. Just curious if there is any update on the status?

We really need to get this on the roadmap. There are times that a team member will start the request, but needs to clarify information and needs to comeback to finalize. This should be part of the new Workfront Experience!

Hello, any updates on this implementation? I have users clamoring for this feature- would be very helpful for our organization, as there are many big projects we work on that require time to get set up. Our users are proactive, so they like to get a request started, fill out as much info as they can, and once they have all the info, they finish off their final details and submit the request. This is functionality we had in our last platform, and think it should be on this one as well. Thank you.

Hello,

I am in agreeance with the below comments. I am in the process of rolling out Workfront and right now, we are using the requests heavily. As many of the requests have alot of details, and users have aloit of requests to send, they are begging for a save in draft mode so that they can enter as many details as possible and save the draft, submit a different request and then go back to the draft once they have the small missing detail. this would save them a ton of time and they are begging for this function.

This would be a wonderful feature! I was just going to submit it myself. I see it's been sitting here a long, long time. I really hope it gets implemented!

When will we have any insight into what you all are considering for this initiative? Will there be any beta testing and, if so, how can we get involved?

Hello,

Are there any updates on this "save implementation? Good to know this functionality is on the horizon. Do you know when this will be released or roughly when? A timeline would be great.

Hi All,

I am really excited to let you know that the Draft Requests functionality is in active development state and we already have the main functionality ready for your testing. Before we make it available for everyone, we would appreciate early feedback from you.

If you would like the functionality to be enabled in your preview to provide early feedback, please send me an email at annaasatryan@workfront.com . To schedule a call to provide feedback in person, feel free to select a time slot that works best for you at https://calendly.com/wf-product-research/draft-requests (due to timezone differences mostly morning times are available for US based users, but please let me know if that doesn't work at all and we will find another time)

Thank you in advance for your time and readiness to collaborate.

Anna Asatryan,

Product Manager, Workfront
