Rich Text Options Everywhere (Not Just Updates)

I saw that someone had this suggestion for Updates (which is great), but I would love to be able to edit the style of text in tasks, issues, project details and custom forms too. It would really help to break up big blocks of instructions and call attention to particularly important information. Caps and punctuation only go so far.

From the standpoint of a technical company, this is the biggest limitation driving people to use email instead of Workfront. Discussion and details needing images, screen captures, charts, etc... always end up in email.

Adoption to "discuss within the project" has been challenging because of the lack of functionality.

To Matt's point, I work for a semiconductor company. The inability to have inline images and tables is a massive blocker to adoption and has already cost me the ability to use Workfront as our bug tracking tool. This was a huge loss to me as having the bugs co-located with the projects would have been incredibly valuable, but there was a small uprising when they found out that no tables or inline images were allowed. A tech company simply cannot communicate without these tools. If I had to choose the number one disappointment with Workfront it would be this missing feature (and I love Workfront). What is infuriating is that it seems so obvious. Even this tool I am using to write this response allows for inline images and hyperlinks.

This is one of the things people at our Agency bring up consistently. I would love to see this feature enabled for task, issue, and project descriptions, as well as updates and custom forms! similar to what I can do in this comment field! :)

I see that there are 4 rich text related idea exchange postings with 101 up-votes across them. Does anybody know if Workfront is planning to do the rich text beyond just the Updates feed (I see that one is planned)?

It's great rich text option is now if WF, but I don't consider it a complete feature until it's distributed across the entire system. I think WF should prioritize finishing the rich text integration for consistency. Currently it frustrates my team more than it helps. Big miss in my opinion.

Rich text everywhere YES - and adding inline screen grabs for updates would increase usage of the platform. Since many user's don't want to create a word doc and then upload. Which technically defeats the purpose of being social....

We would like this as well for our copy team to be able to enter copy right into custom fields instead of uploading a Word doc to each project.
