I'm noticing that tasks with planned hours that have been CANCELLED are falsely inflating workloads in the capacity planner. When a task is cancelled, the hours should not impact capacity reporting as the work is cancelled.
Currently the only work around I know of is to delete the planned hours from each task. This is a huge effort as the PM has to go into EACH task & wipe out the planned hours & duration to effectively remove the time.
SUGGESTION: automate the deletion of planned hours from cancelled tasks or figure out a way to exclude those hours from being counted in capacity & resourcing tools.
