Description
The 'Task Summary' pop-out panel available on projects (see screenshot) is a great way to check on your tasks without having to leave your project plan, but it is missing some basic functionality that would bring it to parity with other areas of Workfront.
Why is this feature important to you
With some improvements to the task summary panel, you could review the status of your project's tasks without ever leaving the project plan.
How would you like the feature to work
We would like the following additional functionality:
- The Task Description field should be included in the contents of the pop-out panel by default.
- Provide the ability to customize the fields included in the pop-out panel's task details section (ideally via the layout template)
- Display custom form data from the task in the pop-out panel
Current Behaviour
There is no ability to customize the contents of the task summary pop-out panel. It is also not possible to view custom forms/fields in the pop-out panel.
