Requesting the Ability to show/hide the Proofing Icon in the Main Menu

I have been told there are only 3 display options for the Proofing Menu Item. 

 

1) Everyone sees it

2) No-one sees it

3) Only System Admins see it.

 

These can only be set by Workfront Support.

 

However, we would like to request the ability to control this in the Layout Templates along with other menu items.

    EVERYTHING should be admin controlled. Menu items, filters, home area widgets, columns, views, summary panels, nav bars, etc.

    Layout Templates used to be able to toggle whether the Proofing icon displays in the main menu or not but I don't see it in my layout templates anymore.  I have no idea what controls the Proofing icon now.

      Yep, I've been pushing for that for years. It seems like every time something is added, admins lose control over it. ie., New Home, Balancer filters, for a few months the Blueprints icon in the waffle menu, importing from MS Project, etc.

      You are not wrong, when we switched to New Home I had to login as people, and manually drag the widgets around for about 3 dozen people
