Reporting on Cost Amts for multi year projects

I need a project report which has the following columns:

Project name, Budgeted project cost, Planned project Cost, Actual project cost. All fields by year

Has anyone been able to do this? I believe it would essentially involving creating calculated fields for the YTD amounts (hours for a specific time period * rate). You would then use text mode to display the new field on a report.

Theresa - We do it via a cumbersome workaround. Basically we have a "summary" expense type where we do the calculation. Our expense data if taken from a separate ERP tool so this manual calculation is part of the "processing" that reformats our expense data into a kickstart format. Then we use a kickstart to update WF each month. By no means a clean or elegant method, but it works.

We have to do it manually and its horribly time consuming. We run an hours report for that year, and a separate Expenses report for that year, then combine data in Excel
