Proofing Tool - Transparency Issue

Our designers have noticed a glitch in the proof tool:

Designers are currently having an issue with .pdf's, at times, showing incorrect opacity within the proofing tool. I’ve attached a screenshot of the same .pdf side by side with the proofing tool & without.
