Prevent (or Warn) Logging Time on Tasks that Won't Report on Resource Grid

As we've found, hours logged against Parent Tasks and Tasks whose planned start and completion dates don't match the hour date, don't appear as actual hours in the Resource Grid.

I would like to suggest that either there be a setting that prevents these Tasks from appearing on the timesheet, OR, there be a displayed warning that the hours will not report up.
