For example, I want to sort my Approvals by Planned Completion Date.

I agree. The Sorting right now is illogical. For example, if you sort (view) by Item Priority, the priorities are sorted by 0,1,2,3 (None, Low, Medium, High), so the highest priority items are at the bottom.

I think the high priority items should be at the top.
