Keep parent tasks collapsed

When viewing a project, it would be nice if the user didn't have to re-collapse the task list each time they come back to the project. For example, CREATIVE is a parent task, and PRODUCTION is a parent task, PRINT MGMT, PREPRESS, and so on.... Production team would like to collapse CREATIVE and the others and have it stay that way; they only want PRODUCTION to stay expanded. Prepress team only cares about prepress stage of tasks, and you get the picture...

This option has come up multiple times with Workfront users on my team. They have asked for the ability to have an expand all/collapse all button for the parent tasks and for the parent tasks to stay collapsed or expanded if they return to the project. Second this!

I support this idea 100%. I need a default for Parent tasks to show as 'collapsed' upon opening vs expanded. This would be beneficial for projects with multiple parent tasks with multiple child tasks. In some cases we have over 15 child tasks under (10 or more) parent tasks. Showing the Project Plan with compressed Parent tasks helps me scroll within the project faster and more efficiently. Thank you!

this would be a big time efficiency on our administrative projects and for creatives logging time

there is a need from our PMO as well for this. It would eliminate a lot of extra time spent scrolling on large project plans.

This is a request I hear from all of our user groups in Workfront. Keeping previously collapsed tasks collapsed would improve the ease of navigating active projects.
