Include day of week in tasks start and end dates

Description - when admin/project manager inputs start and end dates for tasks display the day of the week also.  (spelled out completely) 
ex: 6/21/2023 Wednesday

Why is this feature important to you -  As a company we have certain weekly processes that only happen on a specific day of the week.  If an end date is on or after that day of the week, the task cannot be completed.  Therefore this would help scheduler with making sure tasks end before that day of the week.

How would you like the feature to work - at task input step, when start date is chosen: populate field with date and day of week.  That should also show in that format for employees on a project as they review their tasks.

Current Behaviour - tasks just have a date.  example: 6/21/2023

There is an option in the advanced settings of any date column to change the display format of the date. While it won't get you to the full spelling of the day of the week it will get you the abbreviated format.

I'm guessing that's only available to admins and when set it will display that format for everyone in the company.
I'm not an admin on my company workfront...

Do you (or anyone) know if that is the case?

@i40 - Any user with access to create or edit views can do it, doesn't need to be an admin as long as other license types have access within your instance.

It can be done when creating/editing a view (from an area of Workfront such as a task/project list or in a report). You select the date column, then click the advanced options and choose your format.
