I know, sounds crazy, but one of our challenges is customers that are creating templates that don't have all the appropriate tweaks and settings that are needed in our use case. Our only recourse is to block them from creating templates and we would prefer not to do that. BUT - if I could allow them to use a couple of templates for creating templates, that would solve the problem!
For a simple scenario - we would have a project template and a task block template. The project template would have all the settings and defaults that we require predefined. Then customers can create templates from that and we know we have consistency but they get to retain flexibility. For a task block template, we would have different settings knowing that this block would only ever be inserted into an existing project.
