Flag for follow up in Updates

It would be great to have the ability to flag an update that would then show up in my Home page. These aren't necessarily items that need to be converted to a task, but just items that need my attention. Sometimes I read an update and then move on to something else, but need the information for a later time.

Agreed. Similar to the "My Priority" they're rolling out in Home in the next release I guess.
