Delegate Assignments similar to Delegate Approvals

I love the delegate approvals feature but would love to also be able to delegate assignments as well. For example I will be taking a 1 week vacation in June and have manually gone into all of my projects and reassigned each individual task I am on to another user ( as an Admin I can do this).

I was about to start a thread on this, and did the search first and found this existing thread. I would LOVE to have this feature, as I have a lot of folks that travel and being able to delegate their workload to a person or team, without having to reassign each individual task back and forth, for a period of time would be invaluable...

I am hopping on this bandwagon. We recently had someone go out on leave and we are re-assigning all of their tasks project by project and then bulk editing within those projects.

There must be an easier way.

Agreed - this would be a game changer. If the function is built for anything assigned to you for approval it seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to extend that out to anything assigned to you from a task/request perspective. For covering people when OOO it would be amazing - making sure nothing gets lost in the mix and allowing full transparency into the workflow in someone's absence.

Yes. This would be extremely useful for us. I spend a lot of time adjusting schedules for time-off. The feature works well, but only if they requested their PTO prior to setting up a project, and only if they are stand-alone resources. If someone is on a multi-resource task, that does not shift, and there have been many times it stayed open, stuck, and then behind schedule. This would save a lot of my time readjusting projects.

When someone goes on vacation. The work it takes to add coverage assignment then remove them when the person comes back is wackyville. PLEASE HELP US....PLEASE MAKE THIS FUNCTIONALITY HAPPEN. We will be forever thankful.

YES PLEASE. This happens often in our organization, we encourage our employees to live passionately and to take time off. Work shouldn't be stopping in the background however, usually just moves to another team member while the employee is out.

‚Our project leaders (5) manage over 60 projects apiece -- and with five of them, they pop in and out and cover for each other. Having to change each task assignment and project assignment is INSANE with a tool that drives efficiency and automation. This is an all-caps MUST!
