% Campaign/Program complete to show all projects regardless of status - not just current projects status

Description - Currently, the % Complete status in a Program (we refer to it as a Campaign) only shows the status of projects that are in a current state.

Why is this feature important to you - We want to see at a glance the status of a program/campaign and not have to sort through multiple projects to determine what project(s) may still be outstanding.

How would you like the feature to work - The % Complete status would take into consideration all of the projects under the program/campaign and not just the projects in Current status.

Hello! If I am understanding what you are trying to achieve correctly, this can be achieved today. Create a new filter at the program level to include whatever status you want to show or exclude in the projects view. They can be easily distinguished by creating a view for each of your statuses to see each project's respective %complete at a glance by selecting the corresponding view.

That's a good suggestion @HollySe.

To my reading, I took the original request from @AdminUs4 (and, similarly, from a separate but related conversation I had a short time ago) as wanting the built-in overall percentage at the Program (Campaign) level to be based upon all of the projects, not just those of "Current" status.

Technically, it might be possible to add a grouping and take the average, of whatever projects are within the filter, but I suspect that average would be inaccurate.

My team would like to see the program/campaign percent complete status to be automatically set to include ALL projects that aren't marked dead or on hold. They don't want to have to create filters for each campaign. Maybe I'm just being dense and not creating a filter accurately, but I tried to create a filter, I didn't get the result I wanted.

I had submitted a WF support ticket and was told it was not possible for the program/campaign Percent Complete status to include all current and completed (not dead or on hold). It only takes into consideration the projects of a program/campaign that are current. Once the project is marked complete, it is removed from the Percent Complete status %.

If I have a program/campaign that contains 10 projects with 5 projects complete and the remaining 5 projects not started, the percent complete is not 50% - it's 0% - which doesn't make sense to me or my team.

@HollySe The issue is the overall Program % Complete only factors projects in Current and Planning Status. As @AdminUs4 stated, a Program with 5 projects 100% complete and 5 projects at 0% complete should be 50% complete. However, Workfront reports it at 0% complete, which is inaccurate.
