Bulk organize reports in folders

Description - move multiple reports to a folder at once

Why is this feature important to you - I have hundreds of reports I need to organize and currently you can move 1 at a time and then it automatically moves you to that new folder vs keeping you where you were in the report list.

How would you like the feature to work - Even if I can only drag one report at a time, PLEASE stop it from taking me to the folder I just moved something to. Then I have to navigate back to the my reports page and find the place I was at and it's just so unnecessary and time consuming. I don't need to see the report in the new folder to know that it's there. Ideally, I would love to be able to select multiple reports and move them all to a folder at one time (and then stay on the page I was originally on).

Current Behaviour - can only move 1 report at a time and then it navigates you to the new folder and you have to constantly go back, drag report, wait for page to load, go back, wait for page to load, find where I was in the list, repeat. Huge time suck for something so small.

This would be a huge help! I also also like to be able to put a report in a specific folder when I am creating the report, so I don't have to take time to do the extra steps afterwards. I also think it would be great to be able to set system-wide reporting folders so large organizations with hundreds and hundreds of reports could organize things uniformly across their instance.

I don't know how I just made that comment an "accpeted solution" when all I did was try to like it  WF please help unmark that as an accepted solution

Also, please allow:

  • Folders to be shared with and viewed by others for collaboration and organization.
  • Shared reports to be dropped into shared folders.

Thank you!
