Back in the dark ages (2012), when we 1st started using Workfront, the report builder was a lot different than what we have now. The new report builder is better than it was, however, we also LOST simplistic functionality with the change.
In the old report builder, for each field that you wanted to include on your report, there were two fields available that you could enter the width and stretch for any field that you wanted on your report. It was a no-brainer...type in a number and viola! the width and stretch were applied.
With the current report builder, you have to go to the trouble to convert the field to text mode code and enter the parameters to control the width and stretch. This is not user friendly at all, especially to novice report builders. They don't want see, much less know how to, "code" something. They want to enter a value and go about their business.
What should be simple, has become an inconvenience and affects adoption in respect to users building their own reports.
